World Travel Show London

Where else can you travel the world in a day? The World Travel Show (or WTM for short) London provides a glimpse into different cultures. It’s colourful, exotic, noisy, fast and a lot of fun. Here’s a quick round-up…

WTM is an annual showcase and meeting of the trade industry, and the media, in November each year. You do have to work in tourism or be .studying on a relevant course to attend. I hope these photos give you a glimpse if you’re not able to make it there and maybe inspire your travels.

Moomin fun at the Finland stand.

Exhibitors really make an effort to make the show a visual extravaganza.

Naturally, Paddington Bear put in an appearance.

… not to be outdone, Belgium brought along some Smurfs.

The BBC and CNN covered the show reporting on all the latest news on the travel industry.

Watering hole for journalists, all that walking and talking is thirsty work.

Great imagery that makes you want to go there!

There were plenty of discussions and presentations, everything from sustainability to women in travel, announcements about the Winter Olympics 2022 and much more.

So there you have it, another year at WTM London promising a great travel year for 2020. You don’t have to go around the globe to experience the world, remember there’s plenty to see on your own doorstep too. Where will you explore in 2020? Let me know in the comments below and enjoy!
